Greetings my Ladies and Lords!
It is I, the not-so-wild Wilding here, reporting for duty. During my recent trips to the outer realm (wish I could' have stayed longer… Loving every bit of it, by the way), I had the chance to talk with the director of the Game of Thrones.
He told me that for the second season of the dramatization of our realm will be shot at two different locations: Croatia and Iceland. Just take a look on this picture:
It looked familiar, eh?
“We have chose two additional locations for the second season of the HBO series, Game of Thrones. We will shoot segments of the new season in Croatia and Iceland. The Croatian sites will serve as some of the Southern locations in the series while several scenes “beyond the Wall” will be shot in Iceland”, the director told me.
My Lords and Ladies, I have been granted to do some ocular inspections to these sites and I must say that Croatia closely resembles to King’s Landing whilst the harsh environment of Iceland (yes, literally, the land’s filled with ice every winter) perfectly matches the hostilities beyond The Wall.
I wonder if there are also Wildings at Iceland.
Hmm…
Watched the first 2 episodes of the series last Sunday and I'm hooked! I'm hoping to read the book soon ..it kinda reminds me of Tolkien's books :)
ReplyDeleteYeah! The medieval-theme kinda reminds me of Tolkien. George RR Martin's a genius!
